RENEW YOUR SCHOLARSHIP

The renewal email will be send in late April.  Do not complete the renewal process until you receive that email.  Any documents or applications submitted prior to receiving those email instructions will not be reviewed until that time.

RENEWAL INSTRUCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Freedom Alliance Scholarships are renewable for up to three years, for a total of four scholarships, provided that the student is enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and their cumulative grade point average (GPA) is at least a 2.0 (on a 4-point scale).

Eligible students will be emailed the renewal information in April or November depending upon when they received a scholarship award.  Only one check is awarded per calendar year.

Please complete the online Conditions and Details form yourself and have your school complete the Verification of Student Enrollment form completed.  Additionally, please email a copy of your transcript that includes your grades from the previous academic year and your cumulative GPA.  Read through and follow the instructions on each of the enrollment verification forms, as failure to do so will result in a delay of your scholarship renewal check being mailed.  

When Freedom Alliance has received all documentation and the application has been reviewed, the student will be notified of their renewal award amount and a scholarship check will be mailed to the school.

PLEASE NOTE: Scholarship checks will only be endorsed and mailed to your school’s Financial Aid or Bursar’s Office.  No check will be sent directly to a student.  Only one check will be issued per academic year and per calendar year.

ENROLLMENT VERIFICATION FORMS

Students eligible to renew their scholarship will be emailed two enrollment verification forms. These forms are titled: Conditions and Details of Scholarship Award and the Verification of Student Enrollment, Expenses and Financial Aid Form.

The Conditions and Details will be emailed to all eligible renewing students and must be completed electronically.

The student and the school will be responsible for completing the Verification of Student Enrollment Form and returning it to Freedom Alliance. It is recommended that you check the status of your renewal paperwork with your school’s Financial Aid Office and with the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Administrator.

In order to renew your scholarship, you must also send to Freedom Alliance a copy of your transcript upon conclusion of the spring semester.

Below you will find the Verification of Student Enrollment, Expenses and Financial Aid Form. Please keep in mind the deadlines for submitting the form.

 

If your scholarship renewal request is approved and you submit your forms by the above deadline with a need shown, your check will be mailed directly to your school’s Financial Aid office.
